Anonymous asked: Are there any psychology, self help books you would recommend?

To be honest at much as it’s interested me I’ve read little to no books on psychology (hoping to change this if anyone reading this has recommendations) … when I was in high school I had a lot of anger inside me… I read a book written by a Buddhist on it and I BELIEVE it was Thich Nhat Hanh’s “Anger: The Wisdom for Cooling the Flames”

Other than that I just think/analyze things a lot a lot a lot … about what it is I do and what has led me to do them and try to perceive these things in people close to me as well (and unintentionally people that are just around me).

Here’s a very good personality quiz to help maybe give you an idea of how you approach/deal with situations and what may be the best ways to go about progressing yourself

Sorry if I’m not of much help

Slightly impress myself during some of my self analysis

fuck a psychologist I don’t need one when my mind is this deep.

No offense towards anyone who goes to one… just my stubbornness speaking.

I’m sure the input would be interesting however i can’t afford one and like I said…I’m stubborn as fuck, especially when it comes to helping myself even if I’m completely weak at times I’ll always come through…even if it’s just a tad bit stronger it’s still a step towards a better me.

Understanding yourself and learning to understand others is always universal and essential tools towards bettering oneself.

You must learn to let go. Release the stress. You were never in control anyway.

There needs to be a code word or something that means “my brain is fighting me every step of the way today and I feel like I’m going to vibrate out of my skin, so I need you to forgive everything and go slowly and speak softly and lower your expectations.” And then we could all just be like, “I know I said we could go to a movie tonight but… tangerines.” And the other person would nod and squeeze your elbow or rub your head and you wouldn’t feel like a failure.

If she’s too good for you, my god, don’t leave her. Make an effort to be good enough instead.
